The 2013 XSories Jalenboo 戒浪.不 Surf & Skate Competition is in full swing -Here are a few pictures of the events so far.

爱德华·莫罗是XSories市场与销售总监，他说：“我们感到非常自豪和兴奋来支持比赛，海南日月湾冲浪在中国保持绝对的最佳场所。有了一个新的混凝土滑板坡道在沙滩上，日月湾冲浪俱乐部给所有当地的孩子提供最好冲浪和滑板的机会，这场比赛在中国是一个独特的事件，因为它结合了冲浪和滑板两项比赛，XSories将带来新的和创新的产品展示给所有的冲浪和滑板爱好者，使他们在运动中留下精彩的瞬间。
这场比赛将有19000元人民币奖金（3000美元），将吸引海南和国内最好的冲浪和滑板选手来日月湾比赛。
主办方预计在男子冲浪的中铁桩会是此次比赛的冠军。铁桩是从蒙古在海南居住的一位自由青年。他参加过许多国际专业冲浪比赛。另外还有男子冲浪选手庙宇，天乐，庙宇 天乐 在海南已经玩冲浪5年。他们最有可能会成为这场比赛的冠军的争夺热点。
主办方预计在女子冲浪中刘丹和郭淑娟成为比赛冠军争夺的热点人物。她们以优雅和气派在中国冲浪届称颂。
许多青少年选手将第一次在比赛中崭露头角。日月湾冲浪队的十二名成员将通过比赛会学习到更多的比赛经验。主办方更亲睐九岁的丘灼，因为他是唯一一个有大赛经验的选手。
滑板比赛含有迷你坡道，街头滑板，趣味挑战，职业表演四个比赛部分。我的最爱谢泽梁，他在2013年HAK滑板店比赛赢得第三名。还有大飞，他在2012年的世界滑板日比赛赢得第二名。两者都是海南当地期待榜首位。
这场比赛将邀请海南冲浪爱好者，创造中国最多人数一起抓一个浪的记录。预计有三十左右的冲浪者参与，并预期它成为一年一度的传统。除此外，还会举行一场冲浪趣味比赛，专业选手们可能会打扮成各式各样，莎士比亚，海盗，芭蕾舞女，或者跟狗狗，猫猫一起。 通过喜剧和技术融合，表达冲浪人的内涵。
主办方会在白天的比赛中做最好的沙滩party。沙滩上有烧烤和啤酒，当夜晚逐渐降临，来自英国的DJ Daven将旋转他最喜爱的曲目。
XSories将有一个电影首映礼，放映电影名字是“Sight & Sound ”（关于冲浪的电影）和“ Perpetual Motion”（关于滑板的电影）。电影预告片同时也会在XtremeVideo优酷频道播放。

On May 4th, Hainan’s Riyue Bay will be host to an event the first of it’s kind ever in Hainan, when the two extreme boardsports of surfing and skateboarding come together in one competition.
Held in beautiful Riyue Bay, China’s surf capital, on the holiday weekend of May 4th, the surfing portion of the event will be a longboard competition, with separate divisions for Men, Women, and Under 16s. Competing will take place on the beach break in front of the Riyue Bay Surf Club. The skateboard portion of the competition will be held on the club’s 1.2m mini-ramp, as well as on a variety of street skating modules, with separate divisions for Men and Under 16s. Organizers expect about 40 competitors for each discipline of surfing and skateboarding.
Edouard Moreau, Marketing and Sales Director of XSories, the presenting sponsor of the com- petition, said “We are proud and excited to support the competition, Hainan Island and Riyue Bay stays definitely the best place for surfing in China. With a new concrete skateboarding ramp on the beach, the Riyue Bay Surf Club provides the best utilities for surfing and skateboarding to all the local kids. The XSories Jalenboo Surf & Skate will be a unique event in China which combines surf and skate skills. XSories will bring new and innovative solutions to all the surf and skate fans during the event.”
There will be prize money of 19,000 rmb ($3,000 USD), which will attract the best surfers and skaters from Hainan and beyond.
Favorites in the surfing discipline in the Men’s group is Tiezhuang, a Hainan resident who is originally from Mongolia. With his experience in several international professional surf competitions, he looks to come away with a high result. Other frontrunners will be Jack Miao and Justin Tiller, both Chinese surfers who have been honing their skills on Hainan for the past five years.
In the women’s longboard division, organizers expect Darci Liu and Monica Guo to be the two competitors to beat, as both have competed in international competitions and are known for their grace and style on longboards.
In the Under-16s division, many young competitors will get their first taste of competing. Ten members of the Riyue Bay Surf Team will compete against a few more experience young surfers. They will look to better Qiu Zhou, the only surfer in the Under-16s division who has competition experi- ence.
In the skateboarding competition, competitors will show their skills on a combination of mini-ramp and street skate modules. Favorites include Xie Zeliang 谢泽梁 , who came in third place in the 2013 Haikou Skate Shop Comeptiiton, and Da Fei 大飞 who finished second in the 2012 World Skateboarding Day Competition. Both are local Hainan skateboarders who will look to take top place on their home turf.
The members of the local surf community will be invited to help set a China national record for the most number of surfers on one wave. Organizers look to have around thirty surfers participate, and anticipate it becoming an annual tradition. Additionally, there will be a Crazy Surf division, where surfers will be invited to do the most bizarre and exciting thing they can think of on a wave, whether it be wearing odd clothing, taking their pets surfing, or riding a non-traditional board.
Organizers hope to create the best beach party Hainan has ever seen. With barbeque and beers available all day on the beach, the party will crescendo at night after the prize-giving ceremony, when DJ Daven from the UK will spin his favorite tracks for the crowd.

Hainan’s premier surf competition will be held over the 3rd and 4th of December. International surf brand Billabong will be the presenting sponsor for the event, now in it’s fourth year, and headphones brand Skullcandy will come aboard as co-sponsor.
The Surfing Hainan Open will take place in Riyuewan, a coastal area on Hainan’s southeast coast. It is one of the best places for surfing in the Chinese island province. The competitors will seek to better each other on Riyuewan’s left-hand point break, which frequently sees days of head-high surf during the fall and winter, when Northeast swells are prevalent.
The number of Chinese competitors in the Surfing Hainan Open has more than doubled every year. While only one Chinese national entered the first Surfing Hainan Open, this year there will be fifteen Chinese.
Competing for her third time is Hubei native Darci Liu. A former ballerina, she brings a lot of grace and style to her longboarding. Regarding the Surfing Hainan Open, Darci said “I love this event because it gives local surfers a chance to get the experience of competing.”

Competing for his fourth time is Moyu Huang, a Xi’an native who started surfing four years ago when he moved to Sanya for university. “I look forward to this competition every year. It’s a great chance for surfers around China and Asia to come together.”

Peter Thew, Brand Manager from Billabong’s head Asia office in Singapore said "We are excited to get behind this years event. Hainan Island has all that a tropical surf destination needs; beautiful beaches, great weather, and some really decent surf... it'll be great to see this event grow over the years".
Billabong previously sponsored Surfing Hainan’s SUP and Run Biathlon earlier this year, as did headphones brand Skullcandy, who are co-sponsoring the Surfing Hainan Open. Brand Manager Elijah Kislevitz , an old hand in China’s extreme sports industry, said “The Surfing Hainan Open is a perfect match for our brand - making progressive change to really bring surfing to China.”
The event will feature three disciplines of shortboard, longboard, and stand up paddleboard, with separate divisions for men and women. The Surfing Hainan Open is popular with expat surfers living in China, and many of the competitors this year have competed multiple times in the years past. Vaughn Hill, a New Zealander living in Hong Kong who has come to every event, said “We get our Hong Kong surf crew together to make the trip over to Hainan for the competition. It’s always a great time, getting to catch up with my fellow surfers around Asia. No matter how I place, it’s a fun weekend of waves and seeing old friends.”
Hainan Beer will sponsor the event for the third time, with ice cold beers available on the beach throughout the event.

Billabong确认为第四届冲浪海南开赛主赞助商
海南首领冲浪比赛将在12月3-4日举行，国际冲浪品牌Billabong将会是这次赛事的主赞助，今年是第四年比赛了，著名耳机品牌Skullcandy也会作为此次赛事的第二赞助商。
冲浪海南开赛将会在日月湾举办，在海南东岸线的沿岸地区，从三亚开车差不多一个小时，是整个海南岛最好的一个冲浪点，竞赛者在日月湾左边的主穴点会更好的相互较量，当东北风浪过来的时候整个冬天都有浪，经常会看到头高的浪。
每年参加冲浪海南开赛的中国选手都有增加到两倍，最先只有一个中国选手参加第一届冲浪海南开赛，今年会有15名中国人参加。
来自湖北的刘丹这是她第三次参加，前芭蕾舞演员，她带着她优雅的风格到长板上。关于冲浪海南开赛，刘丹说“我爱这个赛事因为这个赛事给很多当地冲浪者机会获得比赛的经验”。

黄漠雨，这是他第四次参加比赛，黄漠雨西安人四年前搬来三亚上大学开始接触到冲浪,他说“我每年都很期待这个赛事，而且是一个很好的机会能跟在中国亚洲附近的冲浪者们聚在一起。

Billabong在今年前已经赞助了冲浪海南站立浆板及跑步两项竞赛，同样耳机品牌Skull Candy也联合赞助冲浪海南开赛，Skullcandy品牌经理Elijah Kislevitz在中国极限运动行业的老手，他说“冲浪海南开赛跟我们的品牌完美匹配-逐步改变真正把冲浪带来中国。
本次活动共有三个项目，短板，长坂，站立式浆板，分别有男子组女子组，冲浪海南开赛很受住在中国的外国人欢迎。而且今年参加比赛的很多选手在过去几年的赛事里也都有参加过，Vaughn Hill,一个住在香港的新西兰人，他参加过我们的每一个赛事，他说“我们把我们在香港冲浪圈子的朋友们组织到一起去海南比赛，每次都是很开心的，能跟很多在亚洲的冲浪者们聚在一起叙旧，不管我会不会获得名次，总会度过一个愉快的周末享受好浪，看到一些很久没见的老朋友”。
海南啤酒将三次的赞助这个活动，将整个活动中沙滩上提供冰的啤酒。
